Born in the 1920s at the behest of the Drei Donà family, the estate spans 23 hectares of heroic vineyards dominated by Sangiovese – Romagna’s emblem. In the 1980s, Conte Claudio Drei Donà imprinted a visionary shift: introducing international varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon alongside sustainable practices that garnered worldwide awards, elevating the winery among the region’s enological stars.

At the heart of production beats organic and biodynamic agriculture, a symphony of rigour and respect for natural cycles. Each stage – from meticulous vineyard selection and harvest to parcel-by-parcel vinification – honours the land: indigenous yeasts, prolonged macerations, natural settlings with top-to-bottom rackings, slow ageing in oak and terracotta amphorae.
