Roberto Garbarino

Roberto Garbarino Winery is a young and dynamic estate in Alta Langa, located in Neviglie, at the heart of the Langhe hills in Cuneo. Established in 2012 by Piedmontese winemaker Roberto Garbarino, the winery specialises in producing classic method Alta Langa DOCG sparkling wines and highly refined aromatic wines such as Moscato d’Asti. The vineyards cover 6.5 hectares of clay-sandy soils, facing south at an altitude of around 450 metres — ideal conditions for fresh, elegant wines with a distinctive character. Its unique position overlooking Treiso and Monviso, combined with a cool, dry climate, allows slow and balanced grape ripening, which is the cornerstone of the authentic quality found in Garbarino wines.

The winery’s philosophy is deeply rooted in environmental respect: no herbicides or chemical fertilisers are used, systemic pesticides are applied sparingly, and manual care is meticulously practiced at every stage of cultivation. This sustainable approach preserves soil vitality and grape health, ensuring clear, pure, terroir-driven wines that genuinely express the character of Alta Langa.

Roberto and his wife Beatrice personally oversee every step from vineyard to bottle, attending to the subtle details that make all the difference in the final product. Each Roberto Garbarino bottle tells the story of the vintage, climate, and land of Neviglie — maintaining a direct connection with this historic wine region, where this young winery now holds a respected and elegant voice within Piedmont’s wine landscape.
