Colle di Maggio

An oenological gem nestled in the Lazio hinterland, Colle di Maggio stands as a unique entity capable of delivering a dream that transcends regional boundaries. The winery upholds a philosophy embracing three fundamental concepts that form the backbone of its entire production: Quality, Beauty, and Art. Located in Velletri, in the Alban Hills – a town long renowned as Rome’s countryside –, Colle di Maggio takes its name from the historic Contrada Prato di Maggio.

The winery’s roots trace back to the 1960s, when it was founded by Domenico Tulino, an art-loving lawyer. He frequently hosted illustrious artists such as Mario Schifano and Giorgio de Chirico, instilling a creative soul in the winemaking project from the outset. Today, under new family-spirited ownership driven by a strong passion for experimentation, Colle di Maggio works tirelessly to enhance a winemaking heritage spanning over fifty years. This dedication not only safeguards tradition but propels the winery towards a future of excellence, where every wine tells a story of land, beauty, and artisanal mastery.
