Laura De Vito

Laura De Vito Farmstead was born from the deep desire of spouses Laura and Carmine to champion and narrate the story of a small yet extraordinary territory: Irpinia. With passion and dedication, the estate cultivates 10 hectares of Fiano in the heart of Lapio, in the province of Avellino, spread across three distinct plots—Arianiello, Verzare, and Sauroni—from which the three prestigious Crus originate. This deep-rooted territorial vocation is reflected in every stage of the production process.

The company philosophy is grounded in absolute respect for the land, which informs every decision: from careful, sustainable soil management practices to artisanal winemaking, and right through to the sale of the finished product. A pivotal encounter marked the start of a new chapter: that with enologist Vincenzo Mercurio, a profound expert in the unique nuances of Irpinian soils. It was this partnership that propelled the estate’s zoning project, culminating in the birth of the three Crus—authentic expressions of distinct yet harmonious terroirs.

After all, the motto that guides Laura—“to be before appearing”—embodies the essence of a project that is genuine, rooted in the land and tradition, poised to win over discerning palates with wines of rare elegance and depth.
