Arcanum

The Estates is located in the county of Castelnuovo Berardenga. At the foot of the fortified old town of San Gusmè, not far from Siena, the estate dates back to the ancient pre-Roman civilization of the Etruscan.

The estate evolves in between the hills and climbs from 300 meters to more than 500 meters above sea level, creating 10 distinct mesoclimates with up to 12 different types of soil, including “galestro”, the most looked after clay soil in Tuscany. Pierre Seillan, internationally acclaimed winemaker who has achieved great recognition for his work in Bordeaux and California, signs the wines of Arcanum.

The winery produces three Bordeaux style wines, made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and each one is the expression of a specific aspect of the estate’s personality.
