TASTING NOTES

Dark ruby color in the glass with vibrant red fruit aromas of pomegranate, cranberry and tart red cherry on the nose. Hints of green olive, cedar, pencil shavings and sandalwood envelop aromas of lavender, anise, ground clove and kirsch extract. All of these flavors come together on the very firm palate with a satisfying amaro-like bitterness. The finish begins with the sweet flavors of raisinated fruit, but quickly gives way to an old world pedigree of firm tannins and mineral-driven character, speaking firmly of its Tuscan origins.
